Tina & Fai

They’re one of the most memorable couples I’ve ever worked with.
It’s never about how long two people have been together—it’s about whether they truly resonate with each other.
From our very first conversation, I could sense their special connection. It reminded me of the story of the 52.0 Whale, the loneliest whale in the world, who finally found someone that could tune into its unique frequency in the vast ocean.

Their relationship was rooted in shared values and a deep understanding of each other.
While they came from similar backgrounds, their unique personalities made their bond even more fascinating. During our shoot, Fai, who’s musically talented, played the first song he ever wrote for Tina. Watching them, I noticed how they communicated without words.
A glance, a smile, or even just a musical note was all it took to convey how they felt.
That kind of harmony is rare and completely unforced.

Photographing them felt like capturing a living melody—every moment a note in their symphony.
It reminded me why I chose this profession: to preserve those fleeting yet profound connections and tell stories that words alone could never fully capture.
